March 22nd was a beautiful sunny Sunday in Kelowna and the ladies of Kitsch 'n Sync were delighted to be the "Birthday Surprise" for Pat's 70th birthday party at the Kelowna Golf and Country Club. We entertained the group of friends and family with some of our favourite classic songs of the 1950s and 1940s in fun 3-part harmony.
We had folks dancing and singing along to some of their favourite songs and one of the ladies told us later with tears in her eyes that Que Sera Sera was her mom's favourite song and it really meant a lot to her to hear it.
Some of the crowd's favourite songs were the 1950s tunes "Lollipop", "Mr. Sandman" and "Da Doo Ron Ron". The 1940s favourite "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" got even the children dancing and the sultry "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon" had couples swaying as they listened. We all had such a wonderful time!
Our 1-hour set ended with an a capella "Good Night Sweetheart" followed closely by "Happy Birthday". Such a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! So happy you decided to add a little "Kitsch" to your party!
